We are a group of Morrisville residents and friends who want to lift up the positive aspects of life here. We see a bright future for our town, so we support the arts, encourage restaurants, and promote community activities and service opportunities.

To elevate arts, culture and shared experience in ways that strengthen community, pride of place and long-term vitality.
Imagine Morrisville exists to improve the quality of shared life in Morrisville through arts, culture and experience. Our impact is collective and cultural. We’re not building programs for the sake of programs; we’re nurturing the conditions for connection, creativity and community to flourish.
The future we’re building
Morrisville as a destination, known for creativity, connection, joy and a strong sense of identity, where people want to live, gather and participate.
We envision Morrisville as a place people choose: not just to live, but to return to, to gather in, to belong to. A destination isn’t a single building or event. It’s a felt sense of place, somewhere that draws people in because of what happens there, who they become there, and how they feel when they’re there.
How we act
To bring people together through arts, culture and community-centered experiences that foster belonging and positive growth.
Our role is to create conditions for shared experience, not to act upon the community as a service provider. We convene. We enable. We connect. Success is relational, and agency is shared. When Imagine Morrisville succeeds, it’s because the community succeeded together.
Our values
These aren’t aspirational words on a wall. They guide how we show up, how we make decisions and how we treat each other.
Everyone is welcome. Every voice matters. We don’t just say it: we design for it, budget for it and hold ourselves accountable to it.
The arts aren’t decoration. They’re how we understand ourselves, connect with each other and imagine what’s possible. Creativity is central to everything we do.
We build bridges, not silos. Partnership isn’t transactional; it’s how we create value together. No one organization owns this work.
Earned slowly, protected fiercely. We do what we say we’ll do. We’re transparent about challenges. Trust is the foundation of everything.
Arts and culture shouldn’t belong only to those who can afford them. Access means affordability, yes, but also welcome, physical accessibility and cultural relevance.
Morrisville isn’t a backdrop for our work. It’s the reason for our work. Every decision starts with “What does the community need?”
How we show up
Our board identified three archetypes that describe Imagine Morrisville’s organizational identity. Together, they form who we are.
We protect what matters. We think long-term. We act with care and responsibility. Stewardship isn’t about controlling; it’s about preserving trust and ensuring continuity.
We bring people together. We build bridges across differences. Value is created through relationship, and we’re the ones weaving the threads.
We create structures that support people. We’re future-oriented but disciplined. Building isn’t about speed; it’s about doing it right, with intention and care.
Our story
Imagine Morrisville emerged from a shared recognition: Morrisville has always had a rich cultural heritage, but it lacked a dedicated space and organization to elevate arts and culture in a way that serves the entire community.
In early 2026, our board came together for a comprehensive stewardship workshop, not to debate tactics but to align on meaning, purpose and posture. What emerged was remarkable consensus: a shared vision of Morrisville as a welcoming, creative destination where arts and culture strengthen community life.
That alignment became our foundation. We’re not rushing. We’re building with intention, care and stewardship, because the work we’re doing isn’t just for today. It’s for generations.

What we’re building now
Imagine Morrisville is working toward the Morrisville Community Arts Center: a 300+ seat performance hall, a visual arts gallery, educational studios, multipurpose rooms and a café. It isn’t just a building. It’s a gathering place, a stage for local talent, a classroom for young artists and a destination that draws people from across the region. See the plan for the Arts Center.
We’re also supporting the Morrisville Arts Collective: visual artists, performers, musicians, writers and creators from every background and identity. Through programming, partnerships and community events, we’re nurturing the creative ecosystem that already exists in Morrisville.
And we’re moving thoughtfully. Growth is earned through trust, not acceleration. Every step forward is taken with care, alignment and stewardship.
